About the Prairie Medical Campus
Approximately 20 years ago, Drs. Ken Nelson and Don Higgins took over a small practice in Westchester.
Over the next two decades, four new physicians were added and the practice moved to its current location at 2434 South Wolf Road. The Prairie Medical Group has become the largest independent primary care practice at Hinsdale and LaGrange Hospitals with over 25,000 outpatient visits per year.
With the addition of a new two-story office building at 2450 South Wolf Road, we have brought specialty services to our campus (both buildings – 2434 and 2450 South Wolf Road) called the Prairie Medical Center.
Our vision was to bring the best specialty services in the Metro Chicago Area to our campus.
